With three cars and the teams Jo Vonlanthen, Daniel Mauerhofer (Jaguar E), Jochen Mass, Martin Utberg (Chrysler 300) and Bruno Flückiger, Caroline Hoy (Auto Union 1000S Coupé) they fought against driver stars like Strietzel Stuck, Mark Webber, Wolfgang Porsche and Peter Kraus.
Jo Vonlanthen clear favorite of the public
While Jochen Mass and Martin Utberg crossed the finish line without any major problems, the intense heat prevented the other Swiss from achieving good placings.
Jo Vonlanthen then drove the GRD F2 at the Porsche Design GP of Gröbming, with which he celebrated great successes during his active racing days. He quickly became one of the crowd favorites in the paddock as well as on the track and had the enthusiastic spectators on his side with his charm.
Team Schwegler drove without Tripmaster
As the best Swiss, Claude and Andrea Schwegler (Triumph TR6) came in 82nd overall. It should be mentioned that this team participated for the first time in the Ennstal-Classic without a Tripmaster. A strong performance.
