For example, the Beetle shines in optional paint finishes such as "Bottle Green Metallic" or "White Silver Metallic". The R-Line equipment line (formerly Beetle Sport) is equipped with bumpers that have been modified once again. The additional vent above the bumper signals an increase in dynamics. Other real highlights are the colored optional LED taillights and the 17-inch "Philadelphia" and 18-inch "Ravenna Adamantium" wheels, which can be ordered as options for the Design and R-Line.
New features include brighter dashboard lighting, the dial, and the dashpad design for Design and R-Line. The engine range extends from 105 hp to 220 hp and includes three gasoline and two diesel units.
Special Denim model recalls the "jeans beetle
The new Beetle special model "Denim" is based on the "Jeans Beetle" from 1974. The model is painted in "Stonewashed Blue Metallic". A special feature is the jeans-colored soft top and the 17-inch "Circle" wheels in "Dark Graphite" paint with chrome cap. The denim style is also reflected in the interior: sports seats with blue upholstery, jeans-style drop pockets and an aluminum blue matte dashpad.
Prices start at 20,300 Swiss francs for the coupe with the 1.2-liter TSI engine with 105 hp, and the convertible is available from 23,950 Swiss francs. The R-Line equipment line will be available at a later date. The Beetle Denim special model is available from 26,000 francs.
