Eagerly awaited by fans is the preview of the Jeep Gladiator, the most powerful pickup in the mid-size class, which will soon be offered in Switzerland. For the time being, the Gladiator is only available with the 3.6-liter V6 gasoline engine. It produces 290 hp and offers 353 Newton meters of maximum torque.
With manual six-speed transmission, the official consumption is 12.4 liters. If required, the Gladiator shows powerful muscles and can tow up to 3.5 tons and carry a payload of 725 kilograms. Incidentally, both are top figures in its class. Prices are available on request.
Offroad conversion for the Wrangler
Mopar, FCA's brand for after-sales service, parts and accessories for all FCA vehicles, has developed one homologated for road use, offered as the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 1941.
The conversion kit includes a five-inch body lift, an air intake snorkel, touchdown rails, black door entry covers, the black fuel cap flap and all-weather floor mats.
Willys-Overland MB premiered in 1941
Background: 1941 was an important year for Jeep, when the first Willys-Overland MB off-road vehicle appeared on the world stage and was already called 'Jeep' back then. Today, its legendary silhouette can still be seen in many details of the Wrangler, such as on the wheels, on the automatic gearshift knob or on the tailgate table.
