Reactions on the first day of Wave Switzerland and teams show how they master the tasks.
At Wave Switzerland, cars will cover a total distance of about 1500 kilometers, and e-bikes about 1300 kilometers. There are stops in four language regions of Switzerland. Switzerland has 26 cantons, and the Wave visits them all. The route goes once around Switzerland, detours to France and Italy are also included.
Equal opportunities for all starters
The Wave leads over several alpine passes. Among them Hauenstein, Klausen, Lukmanier, Nufenen or Simplon (free choice), Col de la Forclaz, Weissenstein and Ibergeregg. Every day a competition awaits the participants. The Wave Trophy is not about speed, but about team spirit, general knowledge and navigation. No matter whether a team competes with an e-bike, a slow or a fast e-car, all starters have the same chances.
On Saturday 22 June, the finish of the Wave Switzerland is in Zug. The award ceremony will also take place here. Where and when you can experience the Wave Trophy, you can find online or on the route map.
