Even in the entry-level Life version, full-Led headlights, traffic sign recognition, lane departure warning and emergency braking assist are all on board as standard. The Easy Link multimedia system with 9.3-inch touchscreen, a fully digital 7-inch instrument cluster and a comprehensive package of driver assistance systems are available as options.
Dynamics with R.S. Line for sporty drivers
The new Clio will cater to different requirements with six equipment levels. The requirements of sporty drivers are met with the R.S. Line (from 26,500 Swiss francs). Special components, such as bumpers at the front and rear, individual light signature and exclusive 17-inch aluminum wheels signal special dynamism.
A hybrid version will also be on offer from 2020
At market launch, the new Clio will be available with a choice of three gasoline and one diesel engine, delivering between 72 and 130 hp. From 2020, the E-Tech hybrid drive will complete the range.
The system consists of a 1.6-liter gasoline engine, two electric motors, a battery with 1.2 kWh capacity and a multi-mode transmission. The vehicle always starts in electric mode. Thanks to the high recuperation performance, users can cover up to 80 percent of all journeys in urban traffic purely electrically.
