This means that the number of prospective buyers has doubled within a year. Around 87% of these reservations were made in Germany, Austria and Switzerland and are spread across more than 20 countries worldwide.
Top speed of 140 km/h
The Sono Sion is a compact car suitable for families, with an output of 120 kW (163 hp) and a range of around 250 kilometers. The top speed is limited to 140 km/h. The solar cells flush-mounted in the body generate additional electricity for a range of over 30 kilometers.
The Munich start-up's car is being built by Saab successor company National Electric Vehicle Sweden (NEVS) in Sweden.
