Less water consumption per vehicle
Porsche determines the sustainability of the company using the "environmental impact of production" indicator. In addition to CO2 emissions and energy consumption, this includes the total amount of fresh water used and the amount of volatile organic compounds used. For example, 34 percent fewer solvents are used in production than in 2014, while water consumption per vehicle has been reduced by 20 percent.

Factory with high-tech façade in Zuffenhausen
Porsche is playing a pioneering role in the construction of the new Taycan factory in Zuffenhausen. In an initial pilot project, Porsche is testing the NOx-absorbing high-tech façade on an area of 126 square meters, the equivalent of around ten parking spaces. It does the work of ten trees.
In addition, the sports car manufacturer is working across the entire value chain to reduce its environmental impact. For example, the Taycan, the brand's first all-electric sports car, will be produced in a CO2-neutral way.

Fine dust ticket for employees in the event of an alarm
Porsche has also established a company mobility management system to ensure that growing employee numbers do not also mean increasing traffic congestion. This includes the "Job Ticket" - a public transport ticket subsidized by the company - and the "Fine Dust Ticket", which enables all employees at the sites in the Stuttgart area to use public transport free of charge in the event of a fine dust alert.
