UPWARD TREND With rank 16 at the final of the WSK Super Master Series in Italy Jasin Ferati achieved his best international result so far. The stakes are high internationally. That's why Jasin Ferati is happy about every opponent he can leave behind.

On his debut in the top category, qualifying for the finals was a high hurdle, but in his second season they are almost becoming a habit for Jasin Ferati. In the first six races this year, he missed them only at the Winter Cup in Lonato.

At the conclusion of the WSK Super Master Series in Sarno, Italy, the 15-year-old from Winterthur scored seven more points by finishing 16th in the final. As a result, Ferati moved up to 28th place in the final standings of the series, which is contested by 87 drivers from all continents and is the tenth-best privateer driver.

Good sign, but weak consolation
Thanks to the best qualifying so far (14th), much more would have been possible on the fast Circuito Internazionale di Napoli. However, incidents in the heats threw him back to 25th on the grid. The fact that he was able to improve by nine positions again in the final was a good sign, but ultimately little consolation.

Jasin Ferati: "Nevertheless, the positive findings outweigh the negative. I moved closer to the leading group and was able to keep up so well with the Tony Kart factory drivers that their mechanics started to wonder. All this makes me confident for the upcoming European Championship rounds and the World Championship in Finland."

Return to the Swiss Championship
Before the European Championship opener on the Easter weekend in Angerville (F), Ferati will make his comeback in the Swiss Championship next weekend at the SM opener in Italy. One week later, in the first of two races for the French OC Championship, there will be a welcome opportunity to familiarize himself for the first time with the new track at Angerville and the Le-Cont tires used there.

Jasin Ferati had a good opportunity to observe strong international riders in the spring. Now he knows where he needs to pull the lever for the future.
