In the Track Edition of the RC F, performance has been raised to a new level with a series of specifically coordinated improvements. The experience gained in motorsport series such as Super GT in Japan, the European Blancpain series and the IMSA championship in North America has been incorporated into the high-performance coupe.
Special edition comes with red leather
Carbon fiber components reduce weight and improve aerodynamics and downforce. Ceramic brakes, titanium tailpipes and a red leather interior further enhance the special edition. Drive is provided by the familiar 5.0-liter naturally aspirated 8-cylinder engine. The powerhouse has to pay tribute to the stricter emissions standards and has lost 14 hp compared to its predecessor. However, a revised intake system is intended to improve response at low engine speeds. Power transmission is handled by the 8-speed sports automatic, which has a higher ratio in the last gear.
Convertible with flat windshield
The convertible closely follows the Lexus LC Coupé. In the open version, the windshield has been set flatter and the tailgate, which conceals the folded soft top, has flat contours. Overall, this is intended to give the Lexus LC Convertible an even more elongated line. In terms of dimensions, the convertible is exactly the same as the coupe, only the height of the open two-seater is 5 millimeters lower than the coupe. That would be a 477-hp naturally aspirated V8 engine and a 359-hp hybrid powertrain.
