Lorenz Frey is convinced that the "Classic Cars fire" will continue to blaze in the coming years.

"Tradition is the passing on of fire and not the worship of ashes," said moderator and classic car enthusiast Christian Jenny, quoting Gustav Mahler as an introduction to the event. Regardless of whether the quote comes from the Austrian composer or not, it is of central importance for the future of classic cars.
Today, classic car enthusiasts are asking themselves whether the objects of their desire will still be in demand in a few decades. After all, young people are less interested in private cars than in the past; new forms of mobility are more important.

400 interested people at the Event Center
"Quo vadis Classic Cars? The next generation", an information event organized by the Swiss Car Register Academy, attracted 400 interested visitors to the Event Centre of Emil Frey Classics AG in Safenwil. An illustrious group of speakers made the event an entertaining meeting of enthusiasts. Urs Peter Ramseier from Swiss Car Register spoke about his glorious family of carrossiers, while father Ercole and son Paolo Spada unrolled gems from their design careers and pointed to future products from their design company Spadaconcept.
