As an alternative in the mid-size class, the New Hyundai i40 Wagon combines appealing design with amazing space. The 4.77-meter-long five-door model is available in the new model year with a fresh look, more safety, and a new powertrain. In Switzerland, it is now available with the 1.6 CRDi diesel (136 hp), optionally with 6-speed manual transmission or 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT) from 34,900 Swiss francs (model New Hyundai i40 Amplia Wagon).
Comfortable and safe on the road
In the New Hyundai i40 Wagon, the active Hyundai SmartSense safety and assistance systems ensure a comfortable and safe ride. New on board is the automatic emergency braking system (Vertex equipment). This alerts the driver visually and acoustically in dangerous situations and, if necessary, triggers automatic braking to avoid collisions or reduce their consequences. It is active in a speed range from 10 to 75 km/h.
Extensive standard equipment
Hyundai offers the New i40 Wagon in two equipment variants, Amplia and Vertex. Even the Amplia Wagon comes with extensive standard equipment. In the top Vertex Wagon trim, the New i40 station wagon stands on new 18-inch alloy wheels and also features, among other things, an electric panoramic glass sunroof, dynamic cornering lights and high-beam assist.
Optimum protection in the New i40 Wagon is provided by, among other things, two front and side airbags at the front, large curtain airbags at the front and rear, and a knee airbag for the driver. Hyundai supplements these in the New i40 Vertex Wagon with additional rear side airbags.
