57-year-old Bram Schot has been the Board Member for Sales and Marketing at Audi AG since September 1, 2017.

Volkswagen AG has also appointed Bram Schot to the Supervisory Board with effect from January 1. Bram Schot has been at the helm of the company as acting CEO since June 2018. He will continue to hold his previous Board of Management position for Sales and Marketing on an interim basis. From mid-June 2018, he also took over the duties of Chairman of the Executive Board on an interim basis.

From Mercedes-Benz Italia to Volkswagen
Before joining Audi, the Dutch native had been responsible for Marketing and Sales on the Board of Management of Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles since 2012. In 2011, the then President and CEO of Mercedes-Benz Italia moved to the Volkswagen Group. There he was responsible for strategic projects in Group Sales.
