The I-PACE prevailed over the ten finalists with combustion engines. This showed once again that electromobility has a future and is in no way inferior to vehicles with conventional engines.
The choice is made up of the evaluation of the expert jury of 13 Swiss racing professionals and car journalists. And in the public vote conducted in all parts of the country by Schweizer Illustrierte and AutoScout24, the VW Touareg won the award for "The Favorite Car of the Swiss.
39 new model were tested
For the eighth time, Schweizer Illustrierte and its partners AutoScout24, BLICK, SonntagsBlick, L'illustré and il caffè were looking for the "Swiss Car of the Year. In the main categories of the largest cross-language car competition, 39 new models vied for the favor of the jury and the public. Expert juries chose "The Swiss Car of the Year", "The Most Stylish Car in Switzerland" and "The Greenest Car in Switzerland". In addition, around 40,000 votes were cast in the nationwide poll for "The Swiss Favorite Car.
