The YZF-R1 GYTR (meaning Genuine Yamaha Technology Racing) features a variety of GYTR performance parts and other performance parts in addition to the paint scheme of the victorious Suzuka Eight Hours racers.
Core items are a racing wiring harness, a different ECU, the CCU and a quick throttle grip. The bike also comes with Öhlins telescopic fork and shock, as well as adjustable steering damper and Akrapovic titanium exhaust system. There will also be an optional addition of non-Yamaha race parts, specially selected by race engineers from an official Yamaha race team.
Access to the Yamaha Racing Experience 2019
Yamaha Europe will launch 20 copies of this exclusive motorcycle, one for each year of R1 history. The model shown is a prototype. Customers will have access to the final and complete specifications and pricing in mid-December. Then they will be able to reserve their motorcycle online and, as buyers, will automatically receive access to the 2019 Yamaha Racing Experience.
