The current Seat models bear the signature of chief designer Alejandro Mesonero-Romanos. The most recent example is the recently presented Seat Tarraco.

The magazine thus recognized the excellent work of Alejandro Mesonero-Romanos and his team in realigning the design of the entire Seat range over the past seven years.

The award ceremony took place in Paris in the presence of more than 70 leading representatives of the automotive industry.

Alejandro Mesonero-Romanos: "I accept this award with pride and share it with the entire Seat design team. A lot of work has gone into the brand's current success, to which the vehicle design, which is oriented towards customer needs, also contributes. This award will certainly be an incentive for us to continue striving for excellent and forward-looking design."

Completely new face for Seat
Alejandro Mesonero-Romanos has been Head of Design at Seat since 2011 and in this position has designed a completely new face for the Spanish brand - including for models such as the Ateca, Arona and the recently launched Tarraco.

The design of the fifth-generation Seat Ibiza, the latest versions of the Leon and various concept cars and future models from Spain that have not yet been presented to the public also bear his signature.

Numerous awards
Since Alejandro Mesonero-Romanos took up his position at Seat, the Spanish car manufacturer has been honored with numerous prestigious design awards. These include the coveted Red Dot Award and the Automotive Brand Contest Award for several of Seat's current models.
