The lithium-ion battery, which has been enlarged to 40 kWh, increases the range of the Nissan Leaf to up to 415 kilometers (according to the WLTP cycle). In Switzerland, 203 customers had opted for the model by August 2018.

Europe's best-selling all-electric compact model can now be combined with the SBB Green Class mobility combo - for consistently environmentally friendly mobility on Swiss roads and rails. As of now, the SBB website is open to all those interested in the SBB Green Class Mobility Combi and the Nissan Leaf.

Mobility services on rail and road
SBB and its partners are opening up new avenues for sustainable door-to-door mobility: for the first time, SBB Green Class is offering mobility services on rails and roads in a single subscription. Following the launch of the mobility subscription with a BMW i3 in spring 2018, SBB Green Class is now expanding the offering to include the new Nissan Leaf, VW e-Golf and Tesla Model S.

Two subscription variants are available
SBB Green Class combines a General Abonnement (GA), your own electric car including insurance and services, a parking space at the station, car sharing, bike sharing, cab and other services in one mobility subscription. The subscription is available as a Premium or Comfort variant. Both subscription variants can be combined with the GA 1st class or 2nd class. Mobility subscriptions are available at a fixed price for a period of twelve months or longer.
