With a crouched posture, the typical Kia tiger nose and sloping roofline, the 4.61 meter long, 1.80 meter wide and only 1.42 meter high Korean, which was designed and developed in Germany, has a sporty appearance.
The Kia ProCeed is five millimetres longer than the estate and 43 millimetres lower at the same time. Its rear end with the continuous light strip and the rear window, which is steep for a coupé (64.2 degrees), is reminiscent of that of the Porsche Panamera GT.
Sporty atmosphere in the interior
The interior also has a sporty atmosphere with black headlining, metal door sill trims and a steering wheel with a flattened bottom.
Thanks to the wheelbase of 2.65 meters - as in the other Ceed models - the amount of space in the front is good. Shoulder and legroom in the rear are considerable. Adolescents are well accommodated here.
Powerful gasoline engines for Switzerland
In Switzerland, the Kia ProCeed GT-Line is powered by the 1.4-liter turbocharged petrol engine with 140 hp known from the Ceed series. The ProCeed and the new Ceed GT will celebrate their premiere at the Paris Motor Show (October 4 to 14).
Both variants have a 1.6-liter turbocharged petrol engine with direct injection under the hood, which delivers 204 hp to the road. The four-cylinder engine achieves its best torque value of 265 Newton meters between 1500 and 4500 rpm.
Prices start at less than 40,000 francs.
