From September 13 to 17, Auto Basel opens its doors once again. For four days, the Rundhofhalle at Messe Basel will once again be the place to see all the new products from the automotive world that will be on sale in Switzerland this fall. 40 car brands show more than 300 models. Admission is free of charge. For more information, visit the website.
Own exhibition for commercial vehicles
However, not only passenger cars will be on display. In a separate exhibition area, 50 commercial vehicles will also be on display, along with their equipment and body options. Auto Basel is thus also the first port of call for regional SMEs who can get a picture of commercial vehicles currently on offer in the Swiss market. AutoSprintCH shows some examples.
Apps will replace the vehicle key in the near future and serve as a universal remote control for various trailer functions or superstructures, such as loading cranes or roll-off tippers.
Electric drives protect the environment
For commercial vehicles, electrification is particularly interesting for urban operations. Electric-powered vehicles not only ensure locally emission-free transport, but also play a significant role in reducing driving noise and easing the burden on local residents, especially at night. Conversion to electric drive could open up new business areas for workshops in the future.
