Formula 4: Ricardo Feller drives for Mücke Motorsport

"I'm already looking forward to the new challenges in ADAC Formula 4 this year. I know that it certainly won't be easy for me in this top-class junior series. In my first season, the main thing for me is to gain experience in order to gain a foothold in Formula racing as quickly as possible," said the 15-year-old.

The last-minute announcement is related to the original plans of Feller and his family. "Actually, we had planned to train first this year and then do some races in Germany and Italy as guest starters towards the end of the season. But the Mücke team convinced the boy to start racing right away. This was the harder way, but the better training course in one of the best elementary school in racing," explained Senta Feller, Ricardo's mother.

Team boss Peter Mücke is convinced of the young Feller's talent. "However, as a late entrant in the classy field of drivers, he will find it difficult to be among the front runners at first. The lack of test kilometers will make itself felt. That will certainly be a difficult start for the youngster at first. But with each additional kilometer on the race track, Ricardo will develop like any young racer on the basis of the experience gained," he said.

Last year, Feller became Swiss karting champion in the KF Junior class, won the "Campionato Italiano Adria", finished fifth in the WSK International Winter Cup Adria and tenth in the WSK Final Adria. In addition, Ricardo Feller was rookie and vice champion in karting in 2012 and 2013.

The kfzteile24 Mücke Motorsport team is racing for ADAC Berlin-Brandenburg and will contest ADAC Formula 4 with four drivers. Mike David Ortmann, Oliver Söderström and Lirim Zendeli are Feller's teammates in the 2016 season.
