The Oldtimerclassic Hittnau was held for the first time 20 years ago. Since then, this event has been held every two years in the Zurich Oberland, attracting a public interested in all types of sporting mobility.
On the circuit, a wide variety of racing vehicles with two, three and four wheels as well as old and youngtimers - divided into different fields - carry out their demonstration runs. The oldest vehicles are 100 years old, the youngest can also be seen in current hill climbs or slaloms.
Visual and acoustic pleasure
It is also possible to accelerate sensibly without endangering one's own safety or that of the spectators. Two fast safety cars set the pace. The focus is on visual and acoustic enjoyment, because this is not a racing event.
The parade will even feature historic tractors. And for special spectacle will provide a monster truck.
Flight operations
The air is also bustling with activity at various times. Announced are takeoffs and landings of about 80 airplanes and helicopters from 1939 to 2017, including two Antonov-2 biplanes. In addition, there will be aerobatic demonstrations.
