This year it is a very special occasion for the Volkswagen brand. 70 years ago, the first Beetles were imported into Switzerland by Amag. Some of these vehicles from 1948 will also be on display in Murten. Volkswagen Switzerland supports the event and is looking forward to seeing as many collectors and fans as possible. Various attractions are planned during the meeting.
Beetle models in original condition until year of manufacture 1957
The Murten Meeting differs from other European events in that it is reserved exclusively for vehicles in original condition up to 1957 for the Beetles and up to 1967 for all other VW vehicle types (Bus, Karmann Ghia, Notchbach) and special bodies. More recent or modified models are also welcome. The "parking lot Aircooled" is reserved for these participants.
Admission for all visitors is free. Public parking is available. Transportation to the festival site will be provided by vintage VW buses.
