Two special historical rarities travel from the works museum to the Eifel. The Czech Miroslav Fousek won the Eastern European Formula 3 Championship in 1968 with the Skoda F3 formula racing car from 1964, which is hardly known in this country. The excitingly designed 1100 OHC, a flat red roadster with a body made of fiberglass-reinforced plastic, was built in 1958 and featured a 92-hp four-cylinder engine with OHC valve timing, a pioneering feature at the time. In addition, seven-time German rally champion Matthias Kahle will chase the legendary Skoda 130 RS around the course.
Brand corsos shows the history of motor sports
In addition to these rare gems, around 40 other sporty Skoda models from a wide variety of eras in racing and rally history will be at the start. Visitors can experience the rarities of Skoda motorsport history in two brand parades on the track. They will start on Friday at 14.10 hrs and on Saturday at 11.40 hrs. Michal Velebný, head of the museum workshop, will be available in the paddock for interesting tours of Skoda's brand history, presenting the exhibited vehicles in detail.
