The fascination with Porsche has remained unbroken for 70 years. For this reason, and due to the success of the first four events, the Porsche Service Center Schinznach-Bad is once again inviting people to Porsche Classic Day - the meeting for drivers of Porsche classic and youngtimers. But not only owners are welcome, but also all those who want to share and experience the fascination of Porsche.
Experience unique Porsche history live
Porsche has been building sports cars since 1948, which is being celebrated accordingly this year. Unique in this form and for the first time in Switzerland, 70 Porsche sports cars from 70 years of production will be on display. These include the two oldest rear-engined Porsche 356s still in existence: a coupé with chassis number 004, which was delivered in 1948, and the legendary Beutler Cabriolet with chassis number 003, which was not completed until 1949 in Thun. Another 68 vehicles represent every other year of production. On Sunday from 11 a.m., the 70 icons will be presented individually to friends of the brand.
Tips and tricks for the old and youngtimers
But that is not all. Of course, many other Porsche oldtimers and youngtimers (up to year of manufacture 1998) are expected. The Porsche Service Center team is looking forward to welcoming many participants with their historic Porsche models. In addition to the many classic cars, there will be other attractions waiting for visitors in and around the Porsche Service Center. For example, the Classic Corner with tips and tricks on the old and youngtimers and the News Corner with information on the current model range.
So that the organizers can plan better, registrations are welcome until August 12 to selina.gasser@porsche-schinznach.ch (phone 056 463 94 42). Admission is free for spectators.
