Motorsport: Swiss talent in the Lamborghini Supertrofeo

Two free practice sessions, qualifying sessions and race heats are held on each race weekend. These last one hour each and include a time-limited pit stop at the halfway point of the race, with or without a driver change. The season starts on April 23 and 24 in Monza. Sportec Motorsport from Höri in Canton Zurich finished second in the amateur team classification last year. With the Swiss duo, they now want to build on this success in the Pro or ProAm classification.

Alain Valente showed his talent as winner of the ASS Young Driver Award in 2013 and then during one and a half seasons in Formula 4, where he achieved several podium finishes. At the 2015 final round at the Nürburgring, he took part in the strongly contested Lamborghini Cup for the first time and cut a good figure in an Italian team. In fourth place in the ProAm standings, the 19-year-old from Berne missed his first GT podium by less than four seconds after 53 minutes.

The Swiss duo wants noteworthy results
Nicolas Stürzinger comes from Ferrari Challenge Europe, in which he was the strongest of the three drivers from the Foitek team in 2015. The 23-year-old from Zurich captured several third places in the Am standings and ended his season at the world finale in Mugello with a great tenth place overall and another third place in the Amateurs.

Alain Valente: "I think we both fit together well and can ensure respectable results. Our goal is podium places in our classification. However, the competition will be very strong, as there are also drivers from the GP3 series. But we're looking forward to it."
