At this prestigious event, a jury of experts will select the best Swiss handball player, the best coach and the referee pair of the year 2018. The Swiss Handball Awards will take place on May 31 at the Trafohalle in Baden.

This year, the Swiss Handball Awards will be held for the 7th time. Around 400 guests from the worlds of sport, politics, business and society are expected to celebrate the winners of the 2017/18 season. Daniel Zobrist, President of the Swiss Handball Awards: "After last year's successful event, which saw Kerstin Kündig from LC Brühl and Andy Schmid from the Rhein-Neckar Löwen emerge as the best Swiss players, 2018 is sure to be another exciting election."
