Volkswagen: Sponsor of the national team until 2020

After successfully qualifying as group runners-up, the Swiss national team is now preparing for the upcoming European Championship in France this summer. Volkswagen has been the official sponsor of the "Nati" since January 1, 2014. The partnership has now been extended until 2020. Oliver Stegmann, Head of Volkswagen Brand: "I am delighted to extend our successful partnership for another four years until 2020. We have always enjoyed being involved in football over the past two years." The football commitment will thus also be continued at national level. Volkswagen is also involved in youth football with the "Volkswagen Junior Masters" and is a partner of FC Basel. The brand also supports other clubs, such as FC Lucerne, through its dealer organization and local garages.

Real fans drive one of the new special models
As part of the cooperation, the association will be equipped with various vehicles. Oliver Stegmann: "There are also other special models as part of the commitment. The aim is to give fans the opportunity to express their enthusiasm for the national team while driving." The "ALLSTAR" special edition models from Volkswagen are also dedicated to the major sporting event in France. With the sale of each special model, Volkswagen supports the promotion of young talent with 50 francs.

Anyone can compete live against the national stars in the "ALLSTAR" game. The aim of the competition is to demonstrate your football skills in various disciplines such as juggling, precision shooting and speed with the ball.
