Hyundai is investing heavily in zero-emission mobility and today offers the widest range of alternative drive systems in the automotive industry. Fuel cell technology has been further developed for the Nexo. The system is smaller, lighter and more powerful. It has an improved air supply and can be refueled more quickly.

First three-tank system creates interior space
The silhouette of the Hyundai Nexo and the seemingly floating roof give the Korean car style. The filigree-looking roof is accentuated by the large rear window areas and the slim D-pillar, which merges into the roof spoiler. The horizontal design of the vehicle is continued in the interior. The digital display in the driver's field of vision shows speed, fuel level and driving efficiency, while the right-hand screen features a new split-screen function and displays navigation data as well as connectivity and infotainment information. The world's first three-tank system (with three 52.2-liter hydrogen tanks each) allows a particularly spacious interior to be created.

Range per tank filling is up to 800 kilometers.
The powertrain develops an output of 163 hp and a maximum torque of 395 Newton meters. This enables the Nexo to accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in 9.2 seconds and achieve a top speed of 179 km/h. According to Hyundai, the drive system achieves an unprecedented efficiency of 60 percent. The range per tank filling is up to 800 kilometers. The market launch is already planned for the second half of 2018. Swiss prices have not yet been set.
