Eight models from Ford Performance's global lineup competed in a special event at Motorland Aragon in Spain in October. Eight professional racers from the Ford Chip Ganassi Racing team - which celebrated a double victory in the GTLM class at the 24 Hours of Daytona last weekend - took their seats at the wheel of a wide variety of models and drove them around the course at the limit.
The eight drivers or models took to the 5.345 km lap in staggered order. A Ford F-150 Raptor started the race, followed by the previous and the brand new Fiesta ST, the Focus RS, the new FMustang GT, the Mustang GT350R, the road version of the Ford GT and the GT race car.
The film sequences were shot in partnership with Castrol Edge during a tight four-hour window.

The eight-man race was only decided in the final corners and on the home stretch. The showdown was filmed with three camera teams, a drone and 16 GoPro cameras. Wheel-level perspectives were captured with a custom Ford Fiesta ST camera vehicle in ultra-high definition 4K quality.
From three-cylinder to V8
Six vehicles are equipped with Ford EcoBoost engines, from the smallest 3-cylinder 1.5-liter in the all-new Fiesta ST to the twin-turbo 3.5-liter in the F-150 Raptor and GT models.
The Mustang GT350R features a 5.2-liter V8 engine (526 horsepower), while the new Mustang GT is equipped with a slightly smaller 5-liter V8.
Guess who won!
