Alhambra family van remains a top seller
The Seat Alhambra remains the most popular family van in the B-MPV segment with 3662 (2016: 3484) registrations. The Ateca SUV also enjoyed great popularity in its first full year of sales with 2362 units. The new Ibiza was only launched in summer 2017 and maintained its position within the range with 2170 units (2016: 1933). The Leon family also remains popular with the Swiss.
Strengthening the natural gas campaign in 2018
Seat will continue its product offensive in 2018 with the launch of the new SUV with up to seven seats. The brand's third SUV joins the Ateca and the new compact crossover Arona, which will complete its first full year of sales this year following its launch at the end of 2017. Seat will also launch a CNG-powered variant of the Arona, expanding its range of natural gas-powered models, which currently includes the Seat Leon 1.4 TGI, the Seat Ibiza 1.0 TGI and the Seat Mii 1.0 MPI ECOFUEL.
