Polestar Performance Parts will initially be available for four models from all Swiss Volvo dealers from the beginning of April. The prices for the complete packages are 6700 (V40), 7700 (V60/S60) and 9300 euros (XC60). In the engine area, the performance package includes optimized power output, improved response and faster gear changes for all automatic transmissions. The Polestar engineers, in collaboration with the Swedish WTCC drivers, have put a lot of fine-tuning work into the chassis set-up.
Comfort and safety have top priority
The result, as experienced by AutoSprintCH on bumpy bumpy tracks around the WTCC test track Vallelunga (I), is impressive: the Polestar models easily absorb bumps and bumps, while the new sportiness is noticeable in winding sections and when accelerating. Polestar boss Niels Möller on the successful balancing act: "Comfort and safety remain our top priority. We didn't want to deny the fundamental values just to improve driving performance."
