Last year, AMAG was again able to achieve a solid result with its brands. The market field still proved to be quite challenging, but the Switzerland-wide mobility services provider nevertheless succeeded in maintaining its high market shares with model innovations, quality and service expertise.

Diesel recall action on 95% completed
Morten Hannesbo, CEO of AMAG: "2017 was a challenging year for us. We are very satisfied with the results. These stem on the one hand from our customers' continued high level of trust in our products, and on the other hand from the excellent performance of our dealers and service partners. I am pleased that we were able to de facto achieve our goal of completing the EA189 recall this year with over 95.5% vehicles converted."

Skoda Octavia most popular model in Switzerland
Volkswagen remained the best-selling car brand in Switzerland by a clear margin in 2017. Audi ended the year in fourth place and Skoda in fifth. The Skoda Octavia was the best-selling model in Switzerland for the first time last year. Seat achieved a new unit sales record and placed in the top 10 for the first time, while VW Commercial Vehicles increased registrations last year and achieved a new unit sales record.
