Here's to a new one: Rolf Reding and Hans Schori are delighted with the partnership for the 2018 Swiss Mountain Championship.

On Thursday evening, the contract was signed between Rolf Reding and Hans Schori, the founder and owner of Eventcenter Seelisberg AG. "With this, we have achieved another goal - namely that one or the other junior will stay with us for the mountain racing scene," says the initiator of this targeted promotion of young talent for mountain racing with pleasure.

In the SuperSeries up to two liters dominated by the Honda Integra Type R, Rolf Reding will be the first driver with a Toyota GT86. Eventcenter Seelisberg AG owns twelve of these models, eight of which are used in the Swiss Mountain Championship Junior.

Rolf Reding: "I am pleased that we found an agreement so that I can rent a car from the Event Center. With the rear-wheel drive and optimum weight distribution of the GT86, we should be able to race for class wins. Despite the street tires, we were only a few seconds over the best SuperSeries times. But it's hard to estimate what difference the slicks will really make. It will certainly be exciting. It would be nice to add one or two more, because this class is interesting and affordable."

Oski Kuhn in the Honda Integra Type R: Mario Koch takes over this car.

The 24-year-old automotive specialist from Immensee knows one of his next year's opponents very well. Mario Koch, fourth in the championship, bought the orange Honda Integra from Oski Kuhn.

Since Giuliano Piccinato will not defend his Mountain Cup title ("I'm taking a break"), anything is possible for the two juniors. Hans Schori: "They are doing well. We are also excited."
