The new Polo is one of the stars on Volkswagen's stand at the Zurich Car Show 2017 and one of four Swiss premieres.

Other VW innovations include the Tiguan Allspace - an extended, stand-alone version of the Tiguan with up to seven seats, the Arteon - the new top sedan, the Golf 1.5 TSI EVO - the Golf with the new generation of engines with variable cylinder deactivation, and the special Multivan "70 Years Bulli" model. The focus will initially be on the four Swiss premieres:

The T-Roc
According to the supplier, the all-rounder T-Roc, with a choice of front- or all-wheel drive, combines the sovereignty of an SUV with the agility of a sporty compact model. The T-Roc is the first Volkswagen SUV that can be ordered in a two-tone paint finish with a visually contrasting roof section (including the A-pillars and exterior mirror housings). At the same time, the T-Roc presents itself digitized (including the new generation of the Active Info Display) and networked via Volkswagen Car-Net.

The new Polo
With significantly more space, efficient engines and assistance systems, the new Polo (https://www.autosprint.ch/auto/neue-modelle/vw-polo-der-kleine-wird-erwachsen) continues its success story. The sixth generation has a completely new design that makes the now generally four-door compact look more grown-up. In addition, a new generation of the Active Info Display is available in the Polo - the first Volkswagen and the first Group model ever to do so.

The Polo GTI
The sporty top model Polo GTI provides power with 200 hp / 147 kW. Like the Golf GTI, the new Polo GTI will compete for the first time in the 2.0-liter turbo class. The new GTI engine will initially be available with six-speed DSG, and at a later date also with a manual six-speed transmission.

The new up! GTI
The new up! GTI continues the pure teachings of the light sports car in compact format. It is powered by a turbocharged engine (TSI) with a maximum torque of 200 Nm. The concept and performance of the 115 hp / 85 kW small car are based on the Golf GTI I with 110 hp / 81 kW launched in 1976.
