Lamborghini Gallardo as a work of art
Foiled in bright colors, the "Lambo" designed and foiled by German artist Carsten Kruse attracts all eyes.

Powerful and dynamic, this 560 hp bolide comes with its unmistakable brightly colored "war paint" and thus joins a whole series of famous Art Cars as a work of art. Calder, Lichtenstein, Warhol, Rizzi or Koons are just a few names of prominent creators of this kind of individual vehicle refinement.

Idea from the 70s
The original idea of having a sports car professionally designed by an artist's hand came from the French racing driver Herve Poulain back in the early 1970s. He had his BMW racing car painted by Alexander Calder. Today, this vehicle is an absolute classic. Kruse's Art Car also reflects the art-historical development of art, design and culture of its era.

Complex technology
The artistic skills are implemented with modern, highly complex film technology. In Landau a. d. Isar, the artist's ideas were transferred to the Lamborghini by specialists at a special lettering company. However, before these were applied to the sports car in a complex process, the artist worked out his ideas on a three-dimensional model.

Originally on the facade
A technique that the facade artist also uses in the development of the designs for his "Colorful Houses". In the process, the respective model is splashed, splotched, shot at and thrown at with paint in a technique that has been greatly refined over long periods of time, sometimes in a calculated manner, sometimes completely detached from any composition. This creates expressive motifs that guarantee the individual character of each work of art.

Soon to see
Soon the colorful powerhouse will now be seen on the road and in various exhibitions. Incidentally, the driving characteristics of the fastest work of art Kruse has ever created are not affected by the application of special film, nor is the paint damaged. This makes the whole thing interesting for other sports car owners, too. And so it is not surprising that artist Carsten Kruse and Franz Rebl, managing director of Rebl-Beschriftungen, are already talking about further Art Cars.
