For the 16th edition of the election of a brand ambassador, Yokohama (Suisse) SA invited guests to a club in Wangen an der Aare on September 23. Around 250 guests did not miss the opportunity to follow the search on site for a young lady who will give the Japanese tire manufacturer a face on the Swiss market for one year.
Jury has decided
Twelve attractive candidates faced off under the moderation of Anne-Cécile Vogt against a jury of five including Ornella Janai (FCA Switzerland SA), Anita Buri (Miss Switzerland 1999), Stefan Donat (AutoSprint.CH), Reto Wandfluh (Director Yokohama Suisse SA) and last year's winner Romana Möckli.
Charm in demand
In addition to appearance, charm and sympathy played a major role in the evaluation. Accordingly, these qualities, together with the answers that the candidates gave to various questions from Anne-Cécile Vogt, were included in the decision. First, however, the winner of the public competition was announced: In the run-up to the election, there was a voting on Facebook, where the candidates could be "liked" by the users. Alexandra Hunziker from Dornach received the most votes.
Ranking ceremony
The ranking ceremony began with the third winner: Isabel Buchbinder (26) from La Tour-de-Peilz received the third most votes from the jury. Vice Miss 2017/18 was Nicole Löchner (25) from Erlen. The winner's name is Mariangela Logozzo, she is 22 and comes from Spreitenbach. Her main prize: her own company car in the form of a Fiat 500C 60th Anniversary; a special model limited to 60 units to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Fiat 500.
