Already a success in 2016
The first edition was already a great success with 4500 visitors and 49 drivers in 2016. The Swiss Drift Association is honored that this motorsport is also promoted in the Swiss scene, especially by inspiring young people to do so.
Swiss teams at the start
The SDA (Swiss Drift Association) is pleased about the commitment of the Swiss teams to compete with the best drivers in Europe. The first open training days have already been held at the TCS track in Lignières. " We are actively working on the development of drift courses to make this sport tangible for beginners. Much with the aim of soon being able to develop and host its own Swiss championship ", explained Audrey Ventura, President of the Swiss Drift Association.
Kings of Europe
The King of Europe series, of which this event is a championship race, is already celebrating its 13th season. It has established itself primarily in the larger European countries such as the UK, France, Spain, Italy and Austria, as well as Greece - with a remarkable reach of more than 110 countries through TV coverage, over two million fans on social media channels and more than 160,000 fans at last year's events.
