Ford: The new Kuga is coming next year
As one of five new SUVs in the next three years, Ford unveiled the revamped Kuga at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. According to the plant, a new 1.5-liter TDCi diesel engine with 120 hp will be the most economical Kuga in the front-wheel-drive version, with a standard consumption of 4.4 liters per 100 kilometers. It replaces the previous 2.0-liter engine of the same output.
With automatically engaging all-wheel drive for improved traction off-road or on slippery surfaces, consumption is said to be only marginally higher. The evolution of one of Europe's most popular SUV vehicles also includes Sync 3, the next generation of Ford's voice-controlled communications and entertainment system, available on request.
